Silverstone Report - June 14th 2015

Qualifying took place in the worst conditions I have ever experienced in my career, and as I posted yesterday we (the team)
decided not to do yesterday's race as the rain was still coming down hard. I was joined by 15 other drivers who elected not to race.
For today's race the grid positions were compiled from the second fastest time from qualifying, now my time wasn't completed before
the session was red flagged and stopped so I lined up 52nd on the 54 car grid. The race had a rolling start and I had a great 1st lap
and quickly made up places, but then the car developed a misfire. Unfortunately this misfire got worse and after 4 laps I retired to the pits.
At that point I had made up 35 places to 17th position so it was disappointing to have to stop. This was not how I wanted my first formula 3
race and my first time racing on Silverstone's grand prix circuit to end, but that's racing. A big thank you has to go to Chris and Lionel
for all their hard work over the weekend. Now it's time to prepare for Spa in two weeks.
